WOYWW

Good morning,

It's time for what's on your workdesk Wednesday. Pop on over to Julia's blog to find out more.

Here is my work space being taken over by a budding crafter. He's got his own set of pencils in a pot just like Mummy's pencils. You can see mine at the back. I used to keep them in their tin and hardly ever used them. Now I've got them in a pot of my desk I use them a lot more.

You can also see on my desk an entry to Craft Stamper giveaways waiting to be posted, a spring card that is almost finished and evidence of my latest brayering.

I think I may need to get another chair in my room and clear some more workspace or I may never get in there again!

Happy Wednesday to you all, I look forward to visiting your desks.

Clare xx

Hi Clare

Great to see your little one joining in on the crafting :) it's nice to see children doing/making things rather than plonked in front of a telly. great crafting space as well!!

No NO, you;re doing it all WRONG! Don't ever let the rest of your family - however small and cute - into your workspace! Don't you understand that this is HOLY GROUND? A sanctuary from all your responsibilities?? What are you THINKING of???????????????????????

Bless him :0) Good Luck with the giveaways X

Great role modelling! I cauht mine young and now she wouldn't cross the street to do it, so hope it turns out more companionable for you! As for putting stuff on your desk that makes you actually use it - have you seen my jar of flowers and buttons....7 weeks and totally unused!!

another week and another lovely tidy desk, and what a cute little chap you've got there. Although i dont have a craft room, all of my stash is stored in plastic storage boxes in the utility room and i've had to buy another box and fill it with all sorts for Harry so when Mummy crafts he can too.
Have a great day - Ju xx

Wonderfully neat space, your little boy is sooooooo cute!

Definitely encourage him to craft with you, even if it means giving up a bit of your space! I was exactly the same with my pencils so I put them in a caddy on my desk and I use them so much now I went and me some more!

Wow, you're so tidy Clare. And what a cute junior crafter you've got there. Enjoy crafting with him while it lasts. My son (now over 30) always liked making things, he used to make great things with quilling. Too fiddly for me!

Aw Happy memories of doing just the same with my little ones but alas I can't get my youngest to do any colouring now but at 22 I really can't blame him :-)

how nice is that that you craft together, cant wait for my grandson to come and play, but only 10 months old, so have to wait a bit, as he wants to eat everything at the moment

How sweet. I must be horrible as when mine enter the room I send them packing; especially Hannah she's 15 and doesn't stop talking so find it really hard to concentrate!! Hugs Pam xx

it's lovely isn't it! my youngest is 8 and she often joins me =)

Look at that concentration on his face .... have to admit I was one of those Mums that was willing to enourage creativity ...but not in MY space ...not that I had much space that was mine back then...except our small kitchen where no one wanted to enter incase they were asked to help lol
