Mini Pizza Box

Good morning everyone.

I love Thursday mornings, my son goes to nursery and me and the dog have the place to ourselves - bliss!

I have made another mini pizza box - I love making these and I am finding them really useful for storing images that I have cut and coloured, they are just the right size. (Here is a tutorial).

I am entering this into two challenges:-

Truly Scrumptious - "Anything but a card", and
Creative Inspirations - "Spots, Dots and Circles

I am not completely happy with this box. I painted around the edge of the white circle scallop (I wanted it to match Tilda's flower), but it needs more coats which I couldn't face doing as it was so fiddly! I should have used another circle of red card instead.

Here's what I used to make this box:-

Stamp: Tilda from Magnolia Summer Kit
Colouring Medium: Derwent Aquatone pencils with water brush
Cardstock: red and white from my stash
Tools: "Bloom Dots" Cuttlebug embossing folder; Martha Stewart "Valentine Hearts" punch; Spellbinders "Flower Creations", Circle, Scallop Circle, Scallop Square, Scallop Heart nestabilities; Scor-pal; X-cut large circle punch
Accessories: Kars gem

Thank you for visiting my blog today and for any comment you may leave, I love to read them.

I hope you have a great day. I think we are in for a storm here!

See you soon.

Clare x

Fab pizza box, love what you have done here.
Know what you mean when you aren't 100% happy with something but then I tend to fiddle and muck it up completely! Your box looks great as it is, love all the detail on it. Keep seeing that MS border punch - think I'm gonna have to buy it!
Enjoy your quiet time this morning - I love it when I have the house to myself.

What a lovely box Clare!! I love the colours you have used and all detail, it´s gorgeous! Tilda and the embossed paper are the focal point so the coloured edge blends in to the background, it looks good from here :)

Hope you get a stormfree evening,

Morning Clare

What a fab box. lovely bright colours.

Whe I saw the hearing I thought oh not too nice for pizza, then read down, sounds more like it.

Well done on winning that candy, I have never gone down the CD route so look forward from seeing what you create and hearing all about them.

Forgot to say.... thanks for passing the award onto me (a few posts below) and apologies for only getting around to thanking you now. I notice from your intereing things that you like to horse ride... me too.... I have had ponies and horses since I was young and I used to compete a lot, however since we moved to Spain I had to give up.
