Gift Jar

Good morning!

I've just got back from a lovely hotel stay in Stratford-Upon-Avon with my family. The weather was beautiful and we really enjoyed ourselves. We go to Stratford quite often for a day out as it is close to where we live, but it was nice to stay there and spend a bit more time enjoying the area.

Sadly, our dog couldn't come with us but she had a wonderful time staying with her "Auntie Dawn" with three other dogs.

Here is the gift she gave to Auntie Dawn to say thank you.

I used Waltzing Mouse stamps, the tag uses a stamp from the "Fancy Phrases" stamp sheet and the label is from the "Rescue Remedies" stamp sheet. I stamped them in Imperial Purple Versafine ink which I heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I cut a Lacey Circle nestie to sit on top of the jar and layered up a flower to finish it off. The choccies are from M&S and conveniently there were a few left over which I soon munched up!

Unfortunately the holiday didn't help my cold which is now worse than before I went away!

Thank you for visiting.

Hugs, Clare xx

Sorry to hear you have a cold Claire and I'm also sorry I've missed commenting on so many lovely creations. I've had real difficulty over the past few weeks with Blogger and comments so it's put me way behind.

How nice that you could spend some quality time in Stratford and it's lovely you have a kind friend you can leave your dog with instead of kennels. I honestly thought you had bought the sweetie jar already decorated it's so professionally done. Lovely gift to say thankyou.

Hi Clare,

Just wanted to thank you for your comment today....
I seemed to have lost your email, I was hoping to send you a mail today...

Any chance you could pop me your addy again please...Sorry, since I changed my email address I have lost loads of my contacts.

My new addy is on my blog...

Need to go now...those sweeties look way to scrummy, I am starved...lol

Just put chicken in the oven so it's going to be at least two hours before dinner, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstalls recipe, The river cottage meat book is full of recipes to die for...I was never a fan of cooking but this book is fantastic....No more dried chichen in our house.
Rib of beef is a must also, expensive treat, but well worth it...Mmmm

Sorry I got carried away...lol
Hope your ok Clare, take care and speak soon
x
