Bah! Humbug! Challenge 1 "Recycling"

Good afternoon everyone.

We've had more snow here but the sun is shining at the moment and it's lovely and bright.

A new challenge has started called Bah! Humbug! and this week's challenge is "recycling".

The image and the sentiment came from the same Christmas card. In the spirit of recycling I decided to make the rest of the card using neglected stash. The base card is from a pack I bought from Lakeland about 8 years ago, the gold card rarely sees the light of day and I pulled out my Woodware trimmer from the back of the cupboard to cut the mat and border - this trimmer is very neglected as I usually turn to nesties and border punches.

It has just started snowing again.

Enjoy your weekend whatever you are doing.

Best wishes, Clare xx

A beautiful image Clare - it would have been a real shame for that to be discarded. Your card is lovely.

I don't think anyone would guess you had recycled a card Clare. It looks very traditional - and wintry!

Isn't it amazing how you can take an existing card and with a little bit of dicing and slicing can create something completely different ... not to mention unique! Love it!
Thanks for supporting our 1st challenge and hope to see you as a regular visitor to Bah!Humbug!

What a beautiful card you've made with your recycled bits Clare. No-one would know it didn't start out life exactly as it is now.

I've chosen all the bits I want to save from my cards this year but have yet to make anything with them.
