Sir Stampalot June Challenge - Photo Inspiration

Good morning to you!

Today sees a brand new challenge at Sir Stampalot. This month we have a photo inspiration for you:-

Here's my card inspired by this picture:-

I stamped Hero Arts "Silhouette Grass" S5316 onto blue card using Brilliant Pearlescent Olive ink. I then randomly stamped Stampendous "Flutterbug" XXA002 amongst the grass using Brilliant Crimson ink and added a sentiment from Personal Impressions "Fairy Silhouette" clear set PICS056. I distressed around the image using Tim Holtz "Distress Ink" Weathered Wood and then used a distress tool to roughen the edges of the card. I covered the wings of the flutterbugs with Ranger "Crackle Accents" and left it all to dry. Once it was dry I stapled the image card onto a burgundy mat and layered this onto more blue card with an edge punched using a Martha Stewart Deep Edger Punch "Flower Bed".

As always, we have a brilliant prize, sponsored by Sir Stampalot.

I hope you can join us this month and I look forward to visiting all the entries.

Hugs and best wishes,
Clare xx

Good Monring Clare

Beautiful work as always.

Your card gives me thoughts of a warm summer evening walking through the fields here in the fens with a gentle breeze amongst the corn which is always a magical experience.

The Hero sihouette grass is a favourite of us all I think, but each time I see it on a card it looks toally different, shows just how versatile it is.

Hi Clare,
I feel such a mare....I really wanted to be on the ball today especially being part of your team this month but been out all day decorating...I did manage to get Adam to show me all the teams creations on his phone this morning but I was itching to get home to have a proper looksy...

Your card is gorgeous Clare, that HA stamp was one of my options to use for the challenge, isn't it gorgeous...I really should ink it up more....

Clare your design is gorgeous...so unique how you added the butterfies flying in and around, it's magical...

I can see you put so much thought behind this theme....I love it...why didn't I think of that...lol
